Davidson County Commissioners passed a resolution opposing judicial changes in our legislature.  The Davidson County Dispatch covered the story on the resolution passage.

Please see their resolution opposing a constitutional amendment that allows legislators, not the voters, to choose our judges, judicial redistricting efforts in their county and asks the legislature to revert back to the system of judicial primaries.

Beaufort County also passed a resolution opposing a constitutional amendment that allows legislators, not the voters, to choose our judges.

If your locality wishes to pass a resolution, please contact Melissa Price Kromm at melissa@ncvce.org
